Estoy hablando · Estás comiendo · Está viviendo
💡 Tip for English speakers
The gerundio CANNOT be used as a noun — use the infinitive instead (Nadar es divertido = "Swimming is fun"). Never use it after prepositions (antes de comer, not *antes de comiendo). Use it with estar for continuous actions or as an adverb of manner.
